Zen DSP Acoustic Calibration Software
Zen DSP is our software tool that lets you configure, manage, and tune your Zen Audio-enabled sound system. It’s compatible with the Zen POWER9 series of network amplifiers, the Zen A2B+ and F25 network preamps - with more compatible products in development! Best of all, it's free to use!
When you connect your compatible Zen device to your computer, Zen DSP dynamically configures itself based on the device, presenting only the adjustments and options that are relevant to your installation.
For example, when connecting to the Zen POWER9 multichannel amplifier, Zen DSP gives you near-complete control over the system's sound - level, gain, routing and mixing, parametric EQ, polarity, phase-inverting all-pass filters, delay, and crossover filtering are all at your fingertips.

The Zen POWER9 networked amplifier
Zen DSP also includes a powerful global EQ, with just as many filter options as our individual Channel EQs.
The delay section will accept absolute delay in milliseconds, or path-length-difference-driven delay in cm or inches (Zen DSP does the arithmetic for you - just plug in the speaker distances, the software does the rest). If you want to copy a channel EQ settings to another channel, it's easy - just a couple of clicks.
Our "Zen Everywhere" upmixing suite lets you configure any preset with two-seat stereo imaging and dedicated ambiance speaker modes.
However, when connecting to a Zen A2B+ or F25 preamp, these acoustic tuning settings only apply to the Ford head unit’s OEM channels. Zen DSP gives the system tuner access to full DSP control of the ACM channels, allowing integration and alignment of the ACM-powered speakers with the rest of your audio system, even if it uses its own DSP. Again digital level, crossover filtering, polarity, delay, equalization, and phase-management filtering are all on tap!

The Zen Audio Z2B+ Network Preamp
Depending on the frequencies involved, Zen DSP defines both infinite-impulse-response and finite-impulse-response filters for your EQ settings - minimizing latency while maximizing transparency and filter flexibility. (During phone calls, Zen devices temporarily bypass all processing, to eliminate latency and maximize call quality).
Zen DSP is a free software application which lets you get the most out of your Zen Audio networked device.
Zen DSP dynamically configures itself when it's connected to a Zen Audio preamp or amplifier, giving you the controls that are right for your device. That means it looks slightly different, depending on the product you've plugged into.

However, when connecting to a Zen A2B+ or F25 preamp, only basic signal-routing functions are available - unless the Ford ACM channels are used. In that case - since you might be using a DSP processor on the non-ACM speakers - Zen DSP gives the system tuner access to full DSP control of the ACM channels! Again -digital level, crossover filtering, polarity, delay, equalization, and phase-management filtering are all on tap! This lets the ACM channels be integrated acoustically with the rest of the system, even thought the rest of the system uses its own DSP.
