Zen POWER9 MOST 25 | Network Amplifier

The Zen POWER9 MOST 25 is a networked preamp, a multichannel amp, and a DSP processor - all in one!
- MOST 25 Network Preamp Built In
- Nine Channels of Audiophile Amplification (1380W!)
- Advanced 10-channel Zen DSP Tuning Suite
What does all that mean? It means the Zen POWER9 plugs into your compatible vehicle’s infotainment network, provides clean sound and clean power for all the speakers, and allows the sound to be tuned via the next-generation Zen DSP. (Please confirm compatibility below before ordering.) No converters, no signal correction, and no vehicle reprogramming needed! If you can imagine using your vehicle infotainment just the way you do now, but with incredible sound from your upgraded aftermarket audio system, then you understand what Zen Audio does for you.
Eliminate troublesome OEM processing, Automatic Noise-Cancelling feedback, and fake exhaust sounds - without cutting a wire or changing any vehicle parameters!
With four 70-watt channels, four more 150-watt channels, and a mono channel with 500W for subwoofers or 125W for center channels, the Zen POWER9 can be the heart of a complete sound upgrade. If more than 500W is desired for the subwoofer, an optional external sub amp can be added (the ZP9 has a remote turn-on output and a dedicated RCA analog output for subwoofer amplifiers). Since the Zen POWER9 uses the same audio component chips as reference-quality car-audio amps, the sound is second to none.

Zen POWER9 in a BMW
The built-in Zen Everywhere upmixer allows your system to deliver stereo imaging for every occupant, using center-channel speakers and ambiance speakers as originally intended! Or, use the Zen DSP settings to create a SQ-competition-worthy one-seat tune.
NOTE: The Zen POWER9 uses a speaker output harness for the installation. A variety of vehicle-specific plug-and-play Speaker Interface Harnesses are available (not included, sold separately). Please click here to see our Installation Kits and PnP Speaker Harnesses. If one of these is not used, a universal harness is included which requires wire connections to be made during the installation.

Additional Product Information
Details
The Zen POWER9 MOST Network DSP Amplifier includes an integrated MOST 25 network preamp, nine amplified output channels (1380 total watts RMS), and one RCA preamplifier output (used for optional high-power subwoofer amplifiers). It is compatible with many European vehicles using the MOST 25 infotainment network - for specific applications, please refer to the Vehicle Compatibility tab below.
The Zen network preamp in the Zen POWER9 receives pure digital stereo sound from the OEM source unit, without any OEM compression, limiting, equalization, or filtering. The preamp also executes volume, front/rear fade, and tone control commands from the vehicle controls, as well as integrating audio streams from various non-entertainment sources (such as handsfree calls and audible alerts).
For more details on network preamps, click here, or see knowledgebase articles available in the Support section below.
The output stage of the Zen POWER9 uses reference-grade Class D chipsets, to ensure the lowest distortion and noise.
- Four 70-watt output channels
- Four 150-watt output channels
- One 500-watt output channel (often used for subwoofers)
- One preamp RCA output channel (for optional external subwoofer amplifiers)

Total Harmonic Distortion plus Noise, Zen POWER9
It should be noted that all these power ratings are RMS, not “peak power”, and are cited at ultra-low distortion levels. While the distortion rating for the subwoofer channel is slightly higher, it is still 1/10th the distortion present on most subwoofer-only amplifier channels in car audio. For more detailed specifications, please see the Specifications tab below.
The Zen POWER power-supply section uses stiff regulation - that means your amp makes the same power at all times. Most car-audio amps go up and down in their power delivery as the car’s electrical system voltage rises and falls. With Zen, you get full rated power at all times, regardless of voltage fluctuations or charge-state modes.

Charging System Voltage Vs Output Power, loose regulation vs. ZenPOWER9
Zen POWER also dynamically adjusts to incoming music signals. The Class H "look-ahead" technology in the ZP9 can adjust the potential power output for musically-relevant periods of time. To learn more about the amplification section of the Zen POWER9, click here.

Dynamic Headroom, loose regulation vs. Zen POWER9 "look-ahead" technology
The ZEN DSP section of the Zen POWER9 allows for the user to calibrate each individual amplifier channel individually, ensuring that all speakers work together for the highest-fidelity sound. Using the free software application, the user can adjust delay, level, crossover filtering, equalization, polarity, and phase. For more on tuning DSP for cars, see here.
The DSP section also processes four amplifier channels in the Audio Control Module of Ford vehicles. Click here for more information on Ford ACM channels.
The Zen POWER9 Amplifier’s USB port allows for adjustment of the DSP settings via a PC, and also for firmware updates if needed. In most cases, final adjustment of the product requires use of a personal computer and internet access (not included). The software application can be downloaded at zenaudio.com free of charge. To achieve peak performance, adjustments should be based on acoustic measurement with a measurement microphone and third-party measurement software (not included). Nav-TV recommends professional installation, as these products are technically complex and special tools are often required. Nav-TV’s worldwide network of installing dealers offer professional installation.
NOTE: The Zen POWER9 requires a vehicle-specific Speaker Interface Harness for the installation to be able to be successfully completed (not included, sold separately, please see below).
NOTE: While the ZP9’s network connection and speaker connections are plug-and-play, new 4GA power wiring to the battery must be installed for proper operation (not included)
